Our Story

Building the most
successful farm in Northern Uganda

Axel Prime Investment Limited was founded with a bold mandate: to transform the vast, fertile but underutilised agricultural land of Abim District into a thriving commercial enterprise that generates real jobs, real food, and real prosperity.

Anchored on 75 acres in Morulem Town Council, with an existing herd of 27 cattle and 32 goats and sheep, we are building Northern Uganda's most comprehensive integrated agribusiness — combining crop production, livestock, poultry, and agro-processing with a world-class Agricultural Research and Training Centre.

"The land is ready. The people are waiting. The enterprise is here."Mr. Okello Patrick — CEO & Founder
Business Enterprises

Three pillars.
One vision.

An integrated model where crops feed the animals, animals enrich the land, and the land produces more crops — a self-reinforcing system of abundance.

01

Crop Production

45 acres under commercial cultivation with solar-powered drip irrigation ensuring year-round production across two growing seasons.

  • Maize — 15 acres, hybrid & OPV varieties
  • Sorghum — 8 acres, drought-tolerant
  • Sunflower — 7 acres, oil extraction
  • Groundnuts, cassava, vegetables
  • Napier & Brachiaria pasture — 7 acres
02

Livestock Production

From an existing base of 27 cattle and 32 small ruminants, scaling to a 600-head operation across cattle, goats, sheep, and piggery.

  • Cattle — target 150 head by Year 3
  • Goats & sheep — target 350 head
  • Piggery — 10 sties, 80 pigs/cycle
  • Dairy, beef, breeding stock sales
  • Biogas & organic fertiliser by-products
03

Poultry Enterprise

Three purpose-built poultry sheds supplying broilers, eggs, and indigenous chicken to regional markets including Abim, Kitgum, Gulu, and Lira.

  • Broilers — 2,000 birds/cycle × 6 cycles/yr
  • Layers — 1,500 hens, 20,000+ eggs/month
  • Indigenous chicken — 500 birds
  • On-farm feed production reduces costs
  • Target: Institutional & export markets
